Search exact user ID as typed; don't substitute another format of that ID
When searching conversations using a non-broken name format, e.g. "FirstnameLastnameNumber", the reply shows results for "Firstname Lastname Number" (broken into sections). It then says "search instead for 'FirstnameLastnameNumber'" which is what I had actually searched for in the first place!! Give me results for what I typed in and don't presume to substitute another format for what I input.
C'mon, Yahoo, please fix this! When we type in a search, especially when we enclose it in quotation marks, that's what we expect the system to search!

Presumably the folks at Yahoo Groups think they are doing us a favour by imitating Google searches. Sometimes, perhaps, they are.
Here's a funny one (an obvious bug - will they ever get quotes right?):
Showing results for "e;quick change"e;
Search instead for "quicktochange"
Showing results for "e;quick to change"e;
Search instead for "quick to change"
Quoted phrases are seriously broken.
Agreed. I do not mind if there is a secondary 'suggestion; that splits it out but most searches are based on an explicit email address with no spaces. Example: I am looking for pookybear19 NOT pooky bear 19.
This 'enhancement' should search FIRST for what is entered, then provide a suggestion for alternatives if I typed something.

How about fixing email so it works instead of adding more broken "Features" and yes we all know what features means.
Another ridiculous "enhancement" to the "experience." Do what user FC said. We know what we're searching for.
