Questions on community moderation / reporting
1.Was the trusted rated system of community moderation phased out or still in place.Where users gained enough trust or reputation through accurate reporting of violating content on the site. When the system worked properly a single report could remove something.I had this ability myself.
2.Is community moderation broken or broken at some capacity where now it takes many reports for something to be removed. It just seems
ineffective as it stands now.
3.Has anyone removed anything in the last 12 months,I sure haven't.
I don't know if any admins will answer the first two questions, what do other users say on third.
Trolls are out of control. I have been a member of Answers for over a decade. In the last three years, trolls have been posting personal attacks, posting lies about me and other members--I've sent Answers reams of evidence to support my complaints. Answers has removed a few of these attacks, but the majority remains. I suggested to Answers that they simply close all of the reported troll accounts--because nearly every day I have to report that these same trolls are posting personal attacks and lies, posting racist material, propaganda. If I were the paranoid type, I'd think that some of the Answers team are friends of these trolls since they won't do what is ethical, proper, moral.

I've reported several trolls hundreds of times that just create a new account and in 10 min are right back trolling like they were never deleted, but they were. Some brag how many accounts they've created in a week. What's the point?
One in particular, Toilet, likes to post about his **** progress every day, and SOMEONE in the community should have the power to REMOVE this disgusting ****; flush it, forever gone.
I have reported a group of trolls for posting racist content and personal attacks for years. Sometimes a post is removed and someone's account ended, but in order to be effective, all trolls reported should be removed as requested.Answers has been given reams of evidence that shows why these accounts should be ended. EVERY day, these same people post racist remarks, personal attacks pointed at other members of Answers.
I have seen questions deleted today. What I haven't seen for many months is notifications of posts of mine being deleted. (but maybe I don't violate the guidelines, or nobody bothers to report it if I do)

3. Yes, I've reported quite a few posts in the past 12 months, including through yesterday, that were removed BUT I have no idea how many other accounts also reported those same posts. Sometimes I report something and it is removed. Other times I report it and it doesn't get removed (it may or may not disappear down the road, but I don't make it a habit to check).

I do not believe the status is being updated. I have never been able to remove something and have reported many.
