Questions on community moderation / reporting
1.Was the trusted rated system of community moderation phased out or still in place.Where users gained enough trust or reputation through accurate reporting of violating content on the site. When the system worked properly a single report could remove something.I had this ability myself.
2.Is community moderation broken or broken at some capacity where now it takes many reports for something to be removed. It just seems
ineffective as it stands now.
3.Has anyone removed anything in the last 12 months,I sure haven't.
I don't know if any admins will answer the first two questions, what do other users say on third.
I have reported a group of trolls for posting racist content and personal attacks for years. Sometimes a post is removed and someone's account ended, but in order to be effective, all trolls reported should be removed as requested.Answers has been given reams of evidence that shows why these accounts should be ended. EVERY day, these same people post racist remarks, personal attacks pointed at other members of Answers.
I have seen questions deleted today. What I haven't seen for many months is notifications of posts of mine being deleted. (but maybe I don't violate the guidelines, or nobody bothers to report it if I do)

3. Yes, I've reported quite a few posts in the past 12 months, including through yesterday, that were removed BUT I have no idea how many other accounts also reported those same posts. Sometimes I report something and it is removed. Other times I report it and it doesn't get removed (it may or may not disappear down the road, but I don't make it a habit to check).

I do not believe the status is being updated. I have never been able to remove something and have reported many.
