  2. Make it easier to report and suspend problem users who harass others

People are getting away with harassment on a daily basis take this individual for example who is a long time user and has been getting away with this insulting and bullying for years he goes by LAN

    https://answers.yahoo.com/activity/questions?show=j3Nh99eeaa

nearly every answer he gives insults the asker of the question and has been regularly violating community guidelines and terms of service and there is no way to contact yahoo about it

need more proof just look at his answer where he calls the asker stupid when they asked a real question and wanted real answers

  3. Allow us to delete our questions after people have answered them.

Currently, if someone has answered a question I have posted, I am unable to delete that question, even if it is a spam answer. This is unacceptable, and I've put up with it for far too long. if I've got nothing but garbage or troll answers, I will never give somebody best answer, anyway, so what's the point?

  5. Bring back the appeal email so we know our post has been reported and removed. It is sometimes very hard to keep track of your post.

We should not have to keep track of our appeals to post removed. We should be getting an email to inform us of a post being reported and removed. It was that way in the past and still should be again. It not an extra cost to Verizon. It has already been programmed

  6. Allow us to block Anonymous answerers!

A lot of times, our questions are filled with troll answers who go Anonymous. This way, we can't block them and they continue to troll in our questions.

If we can block Anonymous users, this problem will be solved!

  7. You are enabling trolls to abuse the report system!

What happens if my content is wrongly reported?

I have received a few standard emails from Yahoo stating:

"...it has come to our attention that you may have violated the TOS(http://www.yahoo.com/r/ts). Please reread the TOS and cease any use of your account that may
    violate the TOS.
If your use of your Yahoo! account is brought to our attention again,
and we believe that such use violates the TOS, then we may terminate
your account without further notice ..."

I know that I am being wrongly reported by trolls and I have NO way to appeal this decision.…

  13. stop sending meaningless warnings

Tell us WHICH guideline we "may" be violating instead of

"...it has come to our attention that you may have violated the TOS(http://www.yahoo.com/r/ts). Please reread the TOS and cease any use of your account that may
    violate the TOS.
If your use of your Yahoo! account is brought to our attention again,

  15. What is with the really OLD QUESTIONS posted under new questions?

I don't understand the reasoning for posting OLD (such as ten years old!!) questions below one that has recently been posted. I can see posting similar questions that have not yet been closed. That would make sense, so people can answer those, as well.

If I am interested in researching a topic on YA, I can easily type that topic in and find everything posted.

But, WHY ON EARTH, would you post a ten year old question within the recent category where users are ANSWERING?

I find this annoying. Seems not terribly useful.

  16. Create a feature to hide the questions and answers of those you choose to block

For instance the mental health spammer who wastes all the space if I block him I should not have to look at his questions and answers make them invisible to me on Yahoo

  17. Incentivize answering by fixing the Leaderboard

At present, the "points earned this week" on our profiles isn't accurate at all. Fix that, and then fix the inaccurate Leaderboard as well to boost activity on Y!A(and so, we get more answers to our questions). An additional suggestion in this regard is to create a search tool for the Leaderboard, so we can track which position we are at instantaneously instead of scrolling down until we rot and die.

  18. Anonymous questions - remove blocking

When an asker moves their question to ‘Anonymous’ any and all blocking should be removed for that question permanently.

You can add a confirmation button that informs the asker that blocking will be removed if you think it necessary to avoid mistakes.

The Anonymous feature is being misused in some sections as a trolling method.

With blocking active this allows the trolls to narrow by design the responses that will attach to their (loaded) question.

Since YA does not have the resources to police trolling this would provide a small mitigation.

  19. Penalize Anonymous Post, No Points for Anonymous answer

Anonymous posters wreak havoc on Y!A. Here's a way to minimize:
    1. Allow Anonymous post, but charge 10 to 20 points. Some Groups need Anon postings.
    2. But DO NOT allow Posts if they have 10 points or below,
    3. AND don't award points for Anonymous answers. Zero, zip, nada.

  20. Compulsory "Unique" Usernames

I think Yahoo / Oath should make it compulsory for users to have a unique username. Currently, there is a user going around cloning several users in the Lesbian, Gay, ******** and Transgender category.

This is total misrepresentation of character and defamation. If we had a unique username policy, this wouldn't happen so easily.

This is a cloned version of my own account "Nerdy Keith":
