If you scroll with the mousewheel, the top banner stays where it is and only the mails are scrolled. As I use the browser window wider than high, because I need to have 4 browsers visible all the time (Work related).

With the new mail I can only see the top email (1000x700px browser window). In the old mail I was abled to scroll with the mousewheel. With the new version the top banner sticks to the top and the view is very shortened.

If you could scroll over the header and get back to see only a list of mails, this would work way better.
