My Yahoo homepage is in German even though my account language is set at English. Please fix!!

It is bothersome to have to find the "button" that allows me to translate the content to English. I am sorry that I am mono-lingual. Moreover, the news articles and emphasis is European slanted. Of course, it is novel to get another viewpoint on world happenings.

I can find other sources for my news but I do like my Yahoo.

For the past 3 weeks I have been contending with my Yahoo Homepage being in German. I have never been to Germany, don't know anyone in Germany. I am an American Citizen using my home PC and my Yahoo Homepage periodically X2 a day is in German. I called Yahoo about the issue approximately 8 days ago and spoke with some person that sounded like a teenager. He was not or could not comprehend what I was talking about. He told me to change my language/region to English and where I lived. I explained to him that has been done. I was disconnected! Nope, I did not call back. I am giving Yahoo 1 more week, then will delete my Yahoo account/homepage. Thank you.

This has been an ongoing issue for several weeks. To fix this fuck up on Yahoo's part, I have to restart my computer. I have never been to Germany nor requested that my language/region be changed to Germany. Get your shit together. No wonder your company is turning to crap and going broke

I'm seeing German too even though my account language is set to English. This started happening about a week ago. Some screw-up with a software update. I wish they'd fix it.

It sucks this unwanted changes in my account.
