The new search is so bad, it is a shame that Yahoo came up with this. It does nothing for me
Change it to the Old "Search" for Finance or find a new one. This one is so BAD, it is unbelievable that you got something like this. Go and learn from others; just any of them.
Any search I put in, the "Search" tells me that it does not recognize it. Same for stock symbols

It's abysmal. Whoever coded this should be fired, then deported, then jailed in a Turkish prison.

Search often does not find a good ticker since lookup is slow to response or does not respond at all with a message of "no matching ticker" when that is simply not true.
Suggested enhancements:
1. If you type a good ticket and press enter, the site should simply take you to that page. That sometimes works, but other times, you needs to lookup to first response, select an ticket and then select go.
Tickers like M and F often go to the wrong place.2. A Go to Ticker field would be idea on the side bar. When you know the ticket and don't have to look it up. simply want to enter it and go. There is not reason for a lookup in this case. Top bar should be:
Go to ticker: _____ (GO) Search for ticker: _________ (Lookup)

Totally agree....please revert back to the old search. This site is becoming quite annoying to deal with as it relates to search.

I agree with Dan's comment. If I type "AAPL" and hit enter, I want to see Apple stock, not some lady I have never heard of. Stock ticker symbols should be the default that pops up. DIS is another example.

Get rid of the "Go to …" on the first line of some stock symbol searches. Very annoying. If I type in a stock symbol, that's what I want to see!!! Terrible.

I typed a few stocks and nothing come out. Why made this change

You should keep what you had. It serves my needs. The new feature will be disastrous and it goes against what I designed for my stock quotes. I suggest that you improve the existing portfolio design by providing a column for the cost basis.

I think you should go back to old search

When I search for a particular stock, it does not give me the quote unless it is on the box.

Your stupid search thingy kept telling me to use correct symbols like MSFT and GE... The freaking search engine of yours did not even know that I did use those exact symbols and it still kept telling me that no results were found ! Your search engine is USELESS !
