  3. been clunking around in the new finance format for the past 2 weeks and it still sucks, even more than before.....

    just about to start looking into Google Finance, sink or swim, or any other format that's customer-friendly (like the old Yahoo format WAS) and doesn't take forever to load anything... Has Yahoo fired the programmers responsible for this nightmare they now call Yahoo Finance? JOKE, the program is now a JOKE!

  4. Add ‘weight’ column

    Add a ‘weight’ column for showing percent value of each stock holding versus the overall investment total. I use Yahoo portfolios as a rollup for several brokerage accounts. It would be useful for portfolio rebalancing and is a basic column in all brokerage account displays.

  6. Quantities cannot be updated

    This started this week (8/31/26). I can't find out any way to update the quantities on "my list". Also the line for cash no longer shows. irl is https://finance.yahoo.com/portfolio/pf_74d2aa07_166f_4ed1_9c7f_3_p_0/view/view_0

  7. Performance and Corporate Guidance

    Your chart trendline is blue and the performance dot is blue, needless to say it can be very difficult to see on the chart. Its worth mentioning that sometimes earnings dates are shown with a blue performance dot and other times a red corporate guidance dot. Stick with one color for earnings and leave the other for events outside of earnings dates. PE ratio's, Earning Dates and not to mention price targets are often wrong in tables.

  10. Bring back ability to view holdings/performance on a specific security

    On the webpage you used to be able to see all the holdings in different accounts and see the performance for them.

  11. Yahoo Finance error

    On the Yahoo Finance page, it often happens that when I change the stock ticker, the result for the previously searched ticker appears in the "Earnings Per Share" box. I don't know if other users have experienced this issue, but I believe the problem lies with the site itself. Thank you for your attention.

  12. Customize order of watchlists/portfolios.

    I am not able to order my watchlists the way I would like to. The reorder icon/function does not work. When I drag the selected list to the top of the column it immediately falls back to the bottom and does not save. This is using the web platform. When trying to use the mobile app (android phone and tablet) the lists can be moved but I get an error message when trying to save.

  13. Yahoo Finance Charts (at a glance) on the main Finance page are erroneous

    All indices were green but your charts seemed to suggest the opposite. Shouldn't there be a QC team?

  19. Yahoo finance newletters have forced white background even in dark mode

    Recently, Yahoo finance newsletter have forced white background even in dark mode. This is completely unusable when reading in low-light. Even "open in webpage" shows the bright white background.
    I did manage to find iphone accessibility "smart invert "to force it to dark mode. For whatever reason this fixed the yahoo finance newsletter, but the daily "yahoo news" is still stubbornly in white background. This is a recent change in the past few days. Suggest put it back so folks can correctly use dark & light mode according to their preferences, room lighting, and personal vision accessibility needs.

  20. Spam on your stock boards is OUT OF CONTROL

    Go to the RIG stock board (what you call "community") i.e. finance.yahoo.com/quote/RIG/community. Look at the messages. 99% are the same spam post (but with different text) with a spam link embedded right there in the message. This happens all over finance, not just RIG. Why don't you fix it? Why would anyone sign up for your fancy AlphaSpace product when they see the horrendous low quality of your spam attention to the free one? I have been reporting these for months now. You simply don't care. But I would think your Corp image would be important to you? For God…
