Yet more grossly misleading so-called "news" reporting attempting to accentuate the issue of violence against women. What a contemptible disgrace this is. Shame on you.
Your lead headline talks of "sickening hit" on female, yet only later do we find that the female was the offender; she was instantly aggressive, she throws the first punch, she raises her leg in attempt to kick the man. Mr Johnson skilfully avoids her violent actions of assault and defends himself with a swift punch to the offender's face.
I commend the male victim of this violent incident who justifiably defended himself with sufficient and due force to subdue the female offender, who certainly would have continued to assault Mr Johnson.
The violent female should be charged with assault on Mr Johnson, and Mr Johnson should be commended for defending himself and thereby preventing a further potentially serious incident from being
perpetrated by the violent female.
Mr best wishes to you Mr Johnson, you may have lost the "trial by media" online which is simply a contemptible, but you should certainly win in a court of law if genuine justice prevails.

Yes, the footage is there for all to see. The female is the offender. It's hard (or is it?) to know why yahoo7 would portray this as male violence against a women. The trend is very widespread in the media; their goal is to report the angle "victim female" regardless of whether or not they themselves are the actual offenders. If the man has any kind of profile, the reporting is ramped up to assist the female in her inevitable attempt for monetary compensation. No doubt, in this case, the female offender will engage a lawyer who suggests undue force was used by the male victim in his self defence actions, thus the female offender should be rewarded financially. Welcome to the era of "women can do no wrong."
