He was not controversial, we are controversial.
He was not controversial, we are controversial.
We thank him for the success of Singapore but the election results did not absolutely reflect our trust in his leadership.
We want to have a say, we want to vote. However, we do not know the scarceness of our votes.
We have voted not because we trust our choice can make contribution to nation building but because we want to make sure the other party will not have an invincible victory as we thought easy war cannot ensure the winner will act in our best interest. We also have the mentality that the existing power will never be eliminated. So, we took the chance.
As such a GRC was taken, losing a valuable player who was in-charge of foreign affair, an extremely important part which result in our survival today (i.e. the dependence on foreign direct investments). Is the competitor ignorant of this fact or he just cared about winning? Either which, his motive is doubtful. Did the voters who took chance regret? We do not know. Do we want to take chance again? That’s the question.
