IT IS, in fact, their business. If they tell you to change your password, change your password. There's obviously a reason. And it's likely that your login credentials are floating around the internet on a list for people that would like use your account to defraud you or others.

******** YAHOO seriously I have not been able to log in for days with no explanation as to why. I finally figured it out, you wanted a new password and I wanted to keep my old one which I now can't get back. SERIOUSLY MY OLD PASSWORD WAS "SECURE". Any problems I was having were created by you yahoo.
