Why is the Technology Section using Microsoft's failed Metro UI styling?
Every once in a while, I glance at this page and leave immediately. I used to read it all of the time, but I don't have the patience to scroll thru this mess.
This Metro UI style hammered Windows 8 adoption. Why would you use this style knowing it's no good. With a large monitor, I marginally hate it, but on a smartphone, my disdain is off the scale!
Please bring back regular headlines.

use a thumbnail image and a list of stories. use a notebook computer to base your page on.
You are having to much fun playing with high speed unlimited internet access. Try planning your pages on a notebook computer with an intermittent slow speed dish connection. To many images. A thumbnail and an info line list is all that is needed. Let the user choose the story they want to read. Quit trying to manipulate what we read first.

Yahoo advertisement between Pogue videos
This was my first time tuning in to Pogue's Video's. I never met a Pogue Video I didn't like.
After the first video, there was a loud Yahoo! scream that required me to turn down the volume.
By that time, I had already realized the controls on the video are extremely slow to react, so if I turn down the audio for the Yahoo! advertisement, then half the next video will finish before I can turn the audio back up. My workaround was to leave the volume down.
I would like to suggest reducing the volume of the adorable Yahoo!…

When talking about tech. Please don't use wrong terms inorder to capture our attention. Now the article. On Facebook and twitter is great. You used the right terms. By calling Facebook and Twitter the right terms.
But the Yahoo Ticker for the article was away off.

fix video quality
If I choose a thumbnail to go to full article & video, it plays poorly or not at all. (the commercials play great though) This happens most often in "screen" or anytime I choose a GMA/Yahoo article.(always says "long running script") Everything was working great until the last month, and it's getting more annoying every day. Please correct this. Thank you.

FIX YOUR SITE
This happens all the time.. Yahoo has an awesome story with vids or pics I want to see... So I click on it and BAM!! video never loads and pics never show up. I'm officially removing Yahoo.com as my homepage.

Stop this flash big advertisement. they do not let us see the actual content , when you want to learn this ?
I guess when nobody uses the yahoo any more..! I know the browser works great when it works on your developer computer , because he got all the drivers and tools to support . but for the older computer
none of this are working
Is there any screen left for the actual content , the whole screen comes out with advertisement and hangs our right there for older browsers.
day a by day yahoo gets worse . .Those days where yahoo was a simple browser were the good days . I have already changed my default web page .

Have the columns written by your tech staff include geothermal heat pumps, the carbonless route to REAL Zero Net Energy homes and buildings.
If we want homes and buildings to be ZNE (zero net energy) with all of their thermal and electric energy generated on-site, we should deploy solar PV, and geothermal heat pumps. Your tech staff should write about this off-the-shelf solution to global warming.

Video in Safari
I am also experiencing trouble viewing videos in Safari. In general, the website seems glitchy and problematic in Safari. Chrome and Firefox work fine, but I don't like having to open a separate browser just for Yahhoo! Tech. But I will if I have to...I love your website! I just wish it worked with my default browser :/

Yahoo Tech is boring!
Yahoo Tech has become boring!! Not very many new stories everyday...just recycled stories from days or weeks before!! Come on Yahoo, can't be that hard to post new stories. Google news manages to do it!
