I hate that pop-up about notifications
Please get rid of that pop-up on the mobile version of mail. I don't want notifications, I have said "not now" every time I check my mail, and by "not now" I mean "not ever, forever." I want to check my email at my convenience, rather than being pestered at inconvenient times. There should be a way to disable this and every other nuisance pop-up.

When asked for my mobile phone number I get the option of giving it to or ‘remind me later’ to move on. I am NEVER giving you my phone number!

I find this so totally annoying to be forced to get this unwanted in-your-face notification request each and every time that I will stop using Yahoo if it stays this way. Ridiculous, pushy, nasty. After 16 years of using Yahoo, that is.

Yes, please stop this popup as it is beyond annoying, and I feel preasured to turn it on. I have the same issue with the popup urging me to download the Yahoo app. "Not now" does not mean bug me every hour untill I say yes, or give in, and download the app so you can have access to everything on my phone.

Please stop, quit, discontinue, cease and desist asking me to enable notifications!!! Don't want them! Go mine your data elsewhere! I said good day sir!

I agree with everybody. I find this popup very annoying. Remove it, otherwise i may find another provider very quick.
4/2 months I have been getting a pop up when starting and in the middle of reading my emails asking if I want notifications about my emails! I continuously choose no I do not! Do you not understand that because you still ask every time! Stop the do you want to be notified, pop ups or I will start using a different email!

Every time I check my email it asks if I want notifications. Why do I have to hit no 1000 times? Very annoying

This is very annoying. Yahoo is demanding we get notifications when it is not wanted. I have a gmail account and am tempted to close this one... A few minutes of inconvenience to avoid the perpetual pop up
Pat Krug commented
It is THE WORST. "Hey, here is an annoying reminder that you have gone out of your way to avoid annoying reminders."

I may have found the answer! I had changed my chrome settings to block the pop-up and thought it didn't work. But it seems I had to restart chrome or wait for the setting to get to my mobile phone.
In Chrome on the PC, go to settings. Search for 'notifications'. This should highlight Site Settings. Click Notifications. Click the Add button across from "Block". Add https://mail.yahoo.com

Yes, it's only been a couple of days and it has gotten on my nerves. I'll look at my mail when I feel like it. I don't need a notification for it, and I don't feel I should have to keep dealing with that stupid pop up.

Agreed! I hate it. I don't do notifications on my phone and it I say no, it means no!

This is Exactly how I feel also!! If this is permanent then I will use a different email service! I will never turn on notifications.
