With new system I cannot add a contact to an existing email list. What happened?
I can no longer assign individual contacts to a email distribution list. You keep messing with something that worked great. Please restore yahoo email classic, NOW!
Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback.
Unfortunately, editing existing lists or creating new lists is not currently possible.
We are working on bringing this functionality to the new Contacts pane as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and your feedback as we work on making Contacts in Yahoo Mail a more streamlined and unified experience.
Thank you,
Mail Admin

Please at least make the classic or basic view available again until it's possible to manage the contact lists with the new Yahoo view. This function is essential the most basic communications via email.

When I go into my inbox it is reverting way down the screen to old messages I previously deleted. I have to scroll back to the top to get my latest email every single time I come onto my Yahoo page

I cannot figure out to add a contact to a list. Whoever is in charge of your HCI should be fired!
What kind of software department removes the ability to use lists when it was such an integral part of the mail service?
You should not have removed the option to run Yahoo classic until you had ported all its functionality into the "new and improved" version. This is basic computing 101! Your new Yahoo mail is not "a streamlined and unified experience."
You should have determined by now a time estimate of when the functionality will be restored to lists. When will that be?
Today is April 16, 2019. Let's see how long it takes for you to restore this critical functionality.

Why was this implemented without allowing proper edits to existing lists? There is no way to add an existing contact to an existing list; that is bad programming.

Where do you see what version of yahoo you have? My wife can log in and see her contacts with the checkboxes, while my contacts are confined to the right hand pane with no option to add to list... HOW DO I GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION THAT WORKED?

How did this pass testing? Whoever pushed it through to take away classic should be fired. I'll be moving to a new mail platform if this isn't fixed in the next 6 months.

We have to be able to access our Contacts the way we could before. Now I can't add new people to my existing groups and can't edit groups/lists. Stop "fixing" things that weren't broken.

Why do you people keep screwing with the email. Why can't you leave well enough alone. Now I can't make changes to my contact list groups. I need to remove or add people to my group lists. I am getting so tired you people just can't leave will enough alone. And don't give this garbage of trying to improve things because you never do.

Go back to the previous version that worked beautifully, allowing adding contacts, adding folks to lists and NOT dropping people from existing lists.

With the previous version of e-mail, when I clicked on the "to", "cc" or "bcc", I would get only my contact list, now it is cluttered with all types of contacts that are not mine and when I forward mail and use "bcc" even though I have close t 100 contacts, I only get the first 10 and if I enter the code for a specific individual it will not call it up. Yet if I click on my contact list normally for a new e-mail they all show up. What have you done! Give me back my functionality.

I have been pulling my hair out trying to amend an existing list following the Yahoo directions that do not work. WTF! I have canceled the upgraded yahoo mail & will be leaving completely if I can't work with this HS system.

quit fixing something that wasn't broke. I can no longer manage contact lists. Impossible to add, delete, assign contact to a list etc. Get your act together BEFORE you change something. Very disappointed. If not fixed soon I will be forced to go else ware.
