I agree. I hate the changes. You cannot go from one email to the next anymore and when you delete, it takes you back to the inbox. Waste of time

I used to be able to keep my inbox at around 35 to 40 messages. With the cumbersome nature of the format I am falling further and further behind every day. I now have (if and when I can access the number of emails I have received) upwards of seven hundred emails waiting to be addressed. When I've complained about the format, all the AI generated response team tells me is to try and learn all of the new features and I will "learn" to like it. I have spent days trying to adapt to the new format, and all I have discovered is that it is "pretty" but not functional, designed with a cell phone in mind, is trying to replace text functions on a phone, and that the programmers responsible for this travesty are not actually using the product they have forced us to use. Furthermore, there is no customer service, the help desk only has one answer and if I need to access anyone that might be able to answer my questions it starts at $4.99 per month and goes up from there. Depending of course as to the level of help I need and whether I need more than the standard 'Explore all of the new options available to you and we are sure that you will love the new mail. Returning to the classic version is not an available option at this time.'

I don't access mail on my phone so I don't know what it does there, but I suspect phone users are having the same problems that those of us using desktop computers are. The new mail was designed by a fifth grader for a fourth grader. Bring back an adult version of mail or at least revert back to classic mail. This is as bad as dealing with a cable TV outlet in all aspects, particularly the manner in which they treat customer service.

You can opt out of their new look! Click on your account on the bottom left of the mail screen, then choose the Settings wheel then click "Switch to basic mail" option on the left side. Its not exactly the same as it used to be, but it's a lot better than the new version.

It is so hard to check my mail now, I have to click 6 or 7 times to do what the old mail took 1 or 2 clicks.
Just bring back the old mail!!!!
Please!!!

This new email UI is horrible. Return the old functions of selecting emails, ability to add attachments is so bad that I am using another email program to send attachments. The UI needs to be able to search by email address, the ability to return to your mail after reviewing an email, fonts are small.

There is nothing good with the new interface. You can no longer block senders directly from an email, you actually have to copy their email address and then go to an entirely different part of the interface to enter the email address in your block list.
The same thing allies to adding new contacts, you can no longer do it from an email but now need to open a new window and use copy/paste.
You have to switch to a Classic view to see your folders in the odd event you actually want to move an email out of your inbox.
Also, you can no longer move a sent email from the "sent" folder, you have to move it back to the inbox. Wow, I guess it never occurred to the ***** development team that anyone might actually want to save an email conversation.
In short, there is literally nothing good about the new interface. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
If the intent of the new interface is to make things harder to do than they used to be, congratulations, mission accomplished. Give all the developers and management that approved this piece of junk a hearty pat on the back and a big raise.
However, if your intent was to make Yahoo Mail easier to use and encourage new people to start using Yahoo Mail, then this update is a complete and total failure. I'd recommend you start fixing it by firing absolutely everyone involved in this update. From the people who designed and approved the new layout to all the developers and management who wrote and approved it. What a total waste of time and now I have to waste more of my time trying to actually use this PIECE OF JUNK!

Stop forcing a different view of our email. The designs SUCK!
You need to let us decide if we want to move to a more elementary view of our emails or stick to the original, which works. This forced update does NOT work! It doesn't update properly and the view is awful! I tried to go back to the regular version, but it keeps going back to another view, not the original. Please stop! Whoever designed the new views is NOT a good designer and really needs to go back to school to understand how people responds to websites. This is a cluster-f. It DOES NOT WORK! -

Sorry but I only wanted to send my feedback with my opinion of the new version of Yahoo.
I am not thrilled with this new version. Can't find the fonts or bold or other items to complete a nice email. I am not happy with Yahoo deciding on which email should my default. I have tried hours to change it. No luck. I removed the email then replaced and it still will come back as default. WHY? Please help. Thank you -

Do more research into what your users want otherwise they will just move on to a more favorable service.

The new look is awful. It doesn't show all my mailboxes. Navigating is cumbersome!
