Why does New Yahoo Mail add extra line breaks in the text of received emails ?

Why does the New Yahoo Mail add extra line breaks &/or spacing between lines in the text of received emails ? This didn't happen before in old YMail.

There is also no horizontal bar separating all the email replies.

    I agree with AP. When replying to an email (email from Outlook.com is the worst offender), the message is blown up with extra line breaks. Please, Yahoo, can you make it so that I don't have to spend five minutes reformatting every reply in order to get it to a half-respectable look.

    The return of the horizontal bar separating email replies would also be appreciated.
