Where in the mail is “delete all”? Too many to delete one at a time!
Need a “DELETE ALL” button. Your Yahoo server is probably overloaded without it. Pretty lame idea not having one. Can’t delete one ar a time!

Option to put emails in trash or delete with a swipe
Swiping left with options to put email in trash or delete it on mobile, offer instruction videos when changes are made so users know how to use any new functions available!

Make it faster or basic more reliable
Yahoo mail is slow &. Basic won't let you delete mail 2 tries & it logs you out. Ads inside mail works great. If the email worked better I'd check out those sponsors.

How do you delete Yahoo mail history - I don’t want it telling me when a deleted contact last emailed me

we could interact with some other yahoo users at a more personal level! You should integrate a multiuser platform function, like for fun. That might help expand yahoo.com's userbase. That way yahoo would be about more than news and sports!
