I agree, the Internet should not be sensored the way it is, people have to stop being so sensitive, George Carlin said when watching t.v. if you come up on a channel that in someway offends you, please use one of the other buttons on your remote, power, channel, mute, last, it is your choice to be offended, but it was also your choice to watch or listen or read the item that offended you, once you came upon that item that you do not like and you continued to read, watch or listen, then you are border line psychotic, only an insane person would continue to engage, so please stop catering to the insane people of the world and let people express them selves freely, providing it has no direct or indirect deragatory effects or affects persons in a deragatory fashion then where the **** is the harm, the comments section, is / was also used to get others point of view, the mood and mental state of other locations around the world, feedback on my opionons, answer to many questions, that could only be answered in relation to the pertinent news items, I would also use the comments section by asking but mostly reading the comments to teach my self about human behavior, and other things that interests me, with out the comments sections I may never have realized that nuclear war is safer and better than nuclear energy, I would have been in the dark on how ignorant our top scientists actually are when it comes to defining a planet, i believe that under an open unsensored with some guide lines and periodical monitoring comments section, anyone and everyone will have a platform to change the world, all change regardless of the change will be viewed by some as good and by some as bad, when you try to sensor language and content of that language you are choosing to repress the one that don't fit your believes thus having the same outcome of a totarian society run by the elite few, a dictatorship, in line and worse than the Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, era in the last century, and the trouble with a society based on sensorship is what is acceptable today might not be tomorrow, thus reversing the hunted / hunter roles, and then reversing them again all based on the mood of those who believe they are in CONTROL of the masses, the people, the comments section at the end of any and all news stories should always be there and people should be encouraged to partake in the discussions about those news stories, for if it is the news it has some effect on all of us. How can we question everything if we can not ask the questions,
