"Compose" list of attachment files not displayed in English
Some people have noticed that things normally displayed in English are now being shown in another language, such as Chinese or Norwegian. In my case, the list of files, from which I may choose to attach to an e-mail message, is now being shown in Hebrew.
I enjoy reading my Bible and had thought that being able to read the Old Testament in the original ancient language in which it was written might be fun to do. On the "Settings" page of my Google Chrome browser menu, under the "Languages" section, I had chosen to be able to view pages written, not only in English, but also in Hebrew. My Google Chrome drop-down menu is now being displayed only in Hebrew, which, although I do not yet understand, I do recognize. I am using my Google Chrome browser right now to compose this e-mail. For some reason, what I had chosen in the "Languages" section on the "Settings" page of my Google Chrome browser menu is now preventing me from being able to select a file, displayed in English, to attach to an e-mail message. Using another browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, might allow my list to be displayed in English. Not being able to read Hebrew, is now preventing me from using my Google Chrome menu to find, not only the "Settings" option, but also the "Languages" section, so that I can try to specify seeing pages written only in English. Having things displayed in an unfamiliar language is certainly disorienting.
