My name change does not reflect in sent mail
Regardless of what I do, my name will not change on outgoing mail

To change the sending name in Yahoo Mail, please follow these instructions:

Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

It says my correct name in setting, but when I send emails it sends my previous name. Going to have to swap providers

I created an alias email address, and somehow it is associated with the name Isadora Reid, which is not my name. My name is Simera Crawford, and I can't seem to change that name which I have no idea how it got attached to my alias address. However, the emails from the alias address still comes to my inbox associated with the original email after I did a test, and I can still sign-in with the alias address... but Isadora Reid's name must go!

Why is it that when I changed my name to Ron M (last name), the one that appears on people's emails when I send an email to them is still the old name of just Ron (last name)? If I change the name shouldn't the public name also change? I need it to say Ron M (last name).

Each time i send an email to someone, the senders name appearing shows YAHOO MAIL SUPPORT instead of my name. Please remove this ASAP.

If you got married, changed your name, or just want to reinvent yourself you can easily do it in Yahoo Mail by changing your sending name, that is displayed to your recipients when they receive an email from you.
Sign in to Yahoo Mail
Click the Settings menu icon Image of the Settings icon. | More Settings Image of the More icon..
Click Mailboxes.
Select the account you want to edit.
Click under 'Your name' to delete or edit your sending name.
Click Save. -

Obviously the name change is an ISSUE, why aren’t you addressing it? It’s causing me a lot of problems, so provide an answer that will HELP us all with a resolution to our problem?

I do not like the fact that my real name comes up on emails, when I send them. This is not always safe. Please consider not including my real name, only the name on the account; not the name I used to sign up

When I snd or forward e-mail from my yahoo account, the name is different not my name. I had corrected it once, but again he same problem. Another family member signed from my PC, the yahoo e-mail us the correct e-mail for me but different display name on the e-mail going from my account,

My name, 'Alan Coleman,' has been changed on my yahoo account that is on my iPad. I don't know if it is a yahoo thing, or an iPad thing.
