Allow EDITING OF the 2-step VERIFICATION PHONE NUMBER If and when the established Yahoo.com email and password are recognized by Yahoo.com
Please--Concerning the 2-step verification Code process : I have to use public library computers / i can not afford private/commercial internet home services////
Please make the steps available for changing the telephone number OR AND the alternate verification e-mail service ID to be changed to allow changes to the 2-step Verification Code Process; the phone number , especially in -order to obtain the verification code :via text.
I have need of simpler way of changing the phone number.
Some of us/me do not have continuous use of home or wireless internet service involving monthly fees ---we/me HAVE TO rely on Public Library Desktop access -to get even periodic e-mail access, i hope this much of the 2-step Verification Process can be accomplished and That Yahoo Corporate will not shut us/me out : if a reply is sent to my yahoo.com e-mail , as It now setup I won't get your responce(spelling).Or HOW to change /edit the old phone number to the new phone number.
The phone I Have TO use is bundled with another Internet carrier and I did not have this "new phone Number" and access to the PUBLIC LIBRARY computers at the time the phone number was changed FOR ME.> It is not a Yahoo' fault line --the entire process is too complicated --
the 2-step VC process is helpful when the account user has the ability to pay the monthly internet services fee because tuser owns the phone [what happens when a phone is lost or stole???-]. ---- I have had this Yahoo.com e-mail since about 2017 and it has all my Student LOAN access, Health Records , SSA>GOV . AND any other .gov State and LOCAL necssescities associated with THOSE Government accounts--
Since the Yahoo.com account is secure Without the 2-step VC Process customers should be able to edit the 2-Step phone number at-least because the Yahoo.com password verified with the user ID was/ is recognized by Yahoo.com . : I can NOT access my GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTS by changing / OR opening a new Yahoo.com e-mail account ... I see no reason United State Postal Service mail can not be used to help change the phone number -- /// THANK YOU ALL KINDLY for all you have and are doing // this urgent as in the next 30 days i Have To change things in my Student Loan account////Sincerely SCOTT H.
