Persistent database caching issue: Requesting manual index flush for deleted contact
Hello Yahoo Support Team,
I am experiencing a persistent backend database sync issue where a deleted business contact continues to populate in my Yahoo Mail search suggestions and "Top Contacts" panel.
The specific entity I need permanently purged from my account's interaction history is:
Display Name: Tattoo Numbing Cream Co
Email Address: info@tattoonumbingcream.com
To save time, please note that I have already exhaustively completed the following troubleshooting steps, allowing 48+ hours for server propagation:
Address Book Purge: Deleted the contact from the main address book, attempted an "add, rename, and re-delete" cycle, and added the address to my Blocked Addresses list.
UI Interventions: Clicked the "X" icon next to the address in the compose search suggestions and cleared my recent search history.
Data & Privacy Controls: Disabled "Enhanced Contacts" (to stop automatic business profile generation) and disabled relevant Yahoo privacy, ad, and tracking controls.
Local Browser Isolation: Cleared all browser data, cookies, and performed hard cache refreshes (Ctrl + F5) across multiple devices.
Despite these front-end actions, Yahoo’s backend data graph is still caching this company profile and pushing it to my active search bar and top contacts suggestions.
Because this is a server-side indexing loop, could you please escalate this to a technician to manually clear, re-index, or flush the contact interaction cache for my account?
