i logged into my Yahoo! Mail account yesterday to find that hundreds of my emails - pretty much everything prior to July 2015 is gone. Simply gone.

Not archived, or hidden, or deleted (ie, in trash) - gone.

The Help function does not have a topic that covers this, so i couldn't lodge a "correct" help/support request; the closest i could find is the 'restore lost/missing emails' option, which does not address the problem that i have, and i can't seem to find a free-form option to explain the problem.

To top that off, when i logged the support request, i got an email back that has the heading "your email restore request" and is otherwise completely blank.
