Really Yahoo the Algorithms or (hopefully not) people that dictate what is 'good news' on your stream of information is/are seriously whacked.
Although Interface familiarity is a great concept for site user return, an interface pulled from 2004 isn't great and is a telling sign of the cubic zirconia'n glitz the Seven West Media adorn.
Yahoo7, I'm 24 year old male who reads a lot of online media who also has used Yahoo services for over a decade, from this standpoint the message being put out by your group is that of people who are frankly 'out of touch'.
Ed Harrison to me seems likeable and a fair smart guy, i bet he would come to understand that 'to make the world’s daily habits inspiring and entertaining' dose not necessarily equal putting the most overzealously fabricated intentionally fear inducing stories onto widespread public places of gathering.
It's not enough that the media featured is formatted into a pompous ceremony of repeat loops of hourly news reports but that they need to be displayed proudly on your company front-page website.
In short; Nothing inspiring or entertaining about this company view on the world's daily habits.
