Time for Australia's own social media?
With more of an emphasis on talking?
Maybe have video calling & messaging in the top left / right of the home screen so we don't require an extra app & can read while we talk.
I believe that Yahoo is the best company to host an Australian service to rival; F/B, I/G, S/C, T/T & W/C.
As for the media, maybe let them select & get paid from their own adds, or pay them royalties for the number of views, like YouTube does?
