I continually get emails re YAHHOO updating the emil site, or is it phising/scamming attempts by others.

Today I was sent an email saying that my account will be deleted because I did not update my account. I also worry this is a scam - I deleted it before thinking to send it here. Please answer this important question because I cannot see it in my messages when I go to my account here.
