Stop asking for phone numbers to activate an email account. My number is non-published and unlisted and I pay for that. I am going to contact the privacy commissioner regarding this abuse for information just to sell. In the past all you needed to give an alternate email address and now you need a phone number. I do not need a yahoo email address that bad. This issue will be looked into by the Federal Government and the privacy act.

Required mobile for registration??? Are you kidding me?!?!?
You morons at Yahoo can eliminate the requirement for a mobile number in your registration. Not everybody has a mobile phone. Nor does everybody want one. Some of us who have brains and know the health, privacy, and security risks involved will never own one. Plus, have you heard of a little think called a "land line"? Been around for years. Costs less. More reliable. Less hassle. Making it a requirement to have a mobile device in order to register an e-mail is moronic. Get a clue and wake up to reality. Providing a mobile number should be an OPTION--NOT…

Time to switch homepages
The fact that today's Yahoo homepage has no mention of the US election results has forced me to move my browser's homepage to msn.ca. This is the final straw in an ongoing decline in the quality of Yahoo's front page. Since 1996 my homepage has been set to Yahoo, but that ends today.

Stop only writing about Apple products!!! every other ad is promoting Apple...not everyone is brainwashed over apple america!
Its extremely annoying how every other ad is about some Apple product! Especially for the millions of people who don't buy Apple products. Bigger screens, NFC , pay by phone and predictive typing keyboards have been around way before Apple announces to the world that they have invented them.....

Hi there and good afteroon
I don't own, nor do I want to own, a cell phone; but yahoo insists I "ADD" my cell number for added ensurance, with repeat intrusive suggestions.
I would like to see a "No thank you, and don't ever ask me again." button to select, so I can put an end to that nightmare on yahoo street advertisement.
Much thanks for all efforts.

I don't own a mobile phone, so asking for one is ridiculous

Stop asking me for a mobile number! I don't have one and don't want one!
Stop asking for personal info. The Internet was MADE to be anonymous. I don't have a mobile and don't want one. I value my privacy.

Give us an option . . .
I don't have/use a mobile phone. Your new page asking for a mobile number for "security" should at least offer an option to bypass that page so it doesn't keep coming up every time I open Yahoo.

Why do I need a mobile device?
Why do need a mobile device to access my account. I have had a yahoo account for close to 10 years and I do not have a mobile device. Are you trying to say because I can't afford a cell phone I am no longer allowed to access my yahoo account? Or that you no longer want me around?
