Have a 'Customise your Homepage' option. Let your users build their own homepage that meets their needs from options Yahoo gives them to choose from. This would include such things as what news categories are higher priority to us. For example sports stories may be preferred over entertainment news for some etc etc.

The distracting flashing ads off to the side of news stories must go. I give my input and delete these ads only to be thanked by Yahoo for my feedback but they pop right back again. I'm tired of it. It is time for a grown up and serious homepage.
