I'm not paying for your ****** assed web based email service in leu of using outlook. I'll just migrate everything away. This really sucks because my mother doesn't want to move away from the Verizon email that comes with her internet service, but still has your ****** fraud bait ads. Since the internet bust of Y2K Yahoo has engaged in questionable advertising practices to stay alive. This little ploy to get a second revenue stream off of my mother will not succeed. Frankly, I'm shocked that Verizon is more concerned about maintaining Yahoo as a profit centre than the damage they are doing to their customer base and reputation. This is the sort of digital strong-arm tactics that I refuse to give in to and will fight at every turn. I hope Yahoo continues its long slow journey to becoming completely obsolete.
