new password has to be so many digits and have a capital and smaller cased letters. This is ******** as i use only this account to rate news on yahoo.com I do NOT want such a complex password that no other site requires. I will not be using yahoo any longer and will go to either google or bing... thanks for nothing! also luv how i still see junk i dont want to read even after i have rated all the subjects with an x!

I agree. Batsh*t level of password protection. It's my junk mail account, not the code for the nuclear launch sequence.
Settle the **** down Yahoo. You are not that important.
Particularly galling "you can not use this password because it's too similar to a previously used one" (BTW: means they keep a file that has all your old passwords, dangerous if that get outs.I'd rather they just delete them). -

I was just about to post the exact same thing. I ******* hate this ******** new password ****. I won't be able to remember my password if it has 109 different characters in it. It's ****** me off to the point where I don't even want to use the site anymore. Nothing works when trying to enter a new password.
