hacked account
It is apparent that after all the email correspondence that has been sent back and forth between you (Yahoo customer care) and me that you people are unable or unwilling to help me. I can not make it any more clear about what has transpired with my Yahoo account in which I have had for over 15 years. Once again I will tell you that it was hacked, all my security questions/answers were changed so I no longer know them and after numerous attempts to give you what the security questions/answers could have been you have failed to understand. There are no other answers I can give you to the security questions.
As of right now, February 25, 2014, I now excuse myself, Ronald Jones, of any responsibility with this Yahoo account that is in my name and has the user ID of rjones1666. I will not accept any responsibility for any wrongdoing with this account.
Homeland Security in the USA has contacted me on a few occasions to inform me that my account was hacked and that the individuals that hacked the account are using the account to send people spam email, bombard their own (HS) server and other commit other wrongdoings.
I had requested someone from Yahoo customer care contact me via telephone due the lack of response and resolution we have had over email. I have even given Yahoo customer care the authorization to go ahead and delete my account with the user name rjones1666. All to no avail.
It is extremely disturbing to me as a customer of over 15 years to have had to jump through hoops like this. All I have stated since the beginning is that I want the account deleted and shut down. Yahoo customer care has failed with this simple request. One would think that when a security beach has taken place on an account and it has been brought to Yahoo customer care attention that the account in question would immediately be shut down until things could be verified and corrected. This has not taken place. Yahoo’s response to all of this is “ If you would like to open a new account please go to our home page and sign up”.
I have lost all confidence with Yahoo and will not only never open a new account but I will never visit the Yahoo website again.
Ron Jones
