Leaving Yahoo after nearly ten years. Too many foul-ups. Bye.
I realize that I am just a small person in your huge empire, so it probably doesn't matter that I am leaving. However, I thought that you should know the reasons:
1. Over the past year, contacts have disappeared from my address book. I did not remove these individuals from my list of contacts. I have written to you about this and the response has not been satisfactory.
2. Difficulties signing on. I acquired a new tablet recently when I was visiting the U.S. When I attempted to sign on to my yahoo address from this new machine, I got nothing but grief. Eventually, after dancing around my security questions, I did manage to access my account, but it took time and was very frustrating.
3. Random font sizes. My font size keeps dropping to tiny. Even after I change the size, the "tiny" size remains, requiring that I reset EVERY time I want to send an e-mail.
4. Anti-spam codes. When I was in the U.S., every time I tried to send an e-mail, I was required to fill in an anti-spam code as part of the sending process. I considered that it might be a function of the fact that I was not in Canada, but I swore that if the same thing happened when I returned, I would be through with yahoo.
It did. And I am. After almost ten years of being associated.
Enough nonsense.
