Yahoo has gone above and beyond the acceptable, when it comes to advertising.
Yahoo has gone above and beyond when it comes to advertising. Ads at the top of my e-mail lists and now among the news stories on the home page. Knock it off .... there's far too much advertising on Yahoo pages as it is. Ffs .... give us a break!!!!

I agree with the folks that are complaining about you shoving all your advertising in our faces. I personally find the one at the top of my e-mail in box, and the one to the right of the page when you try to read an e-mail OR when typing one. Have some consideration.

I totally agree with you. The quality of ads that yahoo is running is hurting the yahoo brand.

You can avoid them by using Firefox to access your Yahoo e-mail (I've probably just jinxed it!). Only problem is now, I can't get into my Yahoo e-mails because "Error: service temporarily unavailable." I've been getting this message since last Thursday. Extremely annoying, esp. because it is not temporary and there is not further explanation.

I can't tell you how annoying those pop-up ads on the Yahoo home page are!!
What possessed the Yahoo web design team to design an interface that continually pops up the same ad in you face over and over and over? I'm not even going to READ the ad, never mind BUY the product.
Please STOP this nonsense ASAP!!

I agree with Bob. I came to this page to put my own feedback in. My anger and aversion to this appropriate action has reached new heights. I view my inbox as a private site with no ones access to it but me. Further more any advertising that happens to be placed on it will never get my business and instead I will take steps to try to avoid those companies and any companies associated with it. I will also be advising others to avoid the same.
This move by Yahoo is disgusting especially at a time when its being made clear that ads are over the top and people are not only getting numb to them but also that there is a negative effect now by all the in your face attitudes.
I have now created another account and yahoo is no longer my prime account.
Lost a customer and the advertisers the same.
