TOTALLY AGREE! This just started today for me and I can't believe it! The ad box on the side is annoying enough; the ad box at the top of the page is annoying enough; but THIS is an INVASION of 'my' email space. If YAHOO doesn't get rid of the VERY BAD IDEA, I'll be going over to gmail - and fast. YAHOO --- ARE YOU LISTENING? DO YOU CARE ABOUT THESE COMMENTS? Get out of my email!!!!

Yahoo is like any other site doesn't care what clients want,opt-out is just a farce, there is no such option! Placed there to aggravate, does nothing to remove anything!!

At first, it was just annoying that I had to remove the ads once from every e-mail I clicked on. Now you have an automatic timer that after a few seconds brings the advertisements back after I have removed them. Remove this horrible, horribly annoying feature. Once I click the "x" on an advertisement, I don't want to see any other advertisements again please.

there was a time when we could simply block ads. now we are even getting "sponsored ads" in our email? it's simply not right. just don't bare your soul to yahoo, they will try and sell that too i'm sure.

The banner at the top of the email is too much in your face!

Not only annoying it costs me money and it takes up so much space that I have to delete it to even see my emails. I pay per bit of data downloaded. The real problem is also that each new page has another full page ad in it. Now I am paying to see your ads. That is not proper business etiquette. I didn't ask for the ads. I should have the choice to receive them or not - a one time click somewhere.

I contacted Rogers, who indicated that they were passing along my complaint to Yahoo, regarding the banner at the top of my inbox. There is a lot of advertising on the sides of the screen, and Yahoo News has inserted so much advertising between the article previews I do not read anything on that page anymore. The ads at the top of the inbox have taken it too far and Rogers/Yahoo just might lose the very people they are targeting in their ads including myself.

I agree with everyone complaining re: those stupid ads taking up a big part of my home page ,without our choice to remove them " Like maybe a ( X ) :( Time to think of another site for homepage maybe ? As yahoo doesn't read our feedbacks or they just don't care :(
