Why do I continually have to go through the exercise of YOU wanting me to change my Password? I constantly say no, because I don't have a need to. Then I am asked to provide a cell-phone number. Startling fact: I don't have or want a cell phone.

CANNOT OPEN NEW ACCOUNT. My adult son wishes to open a Yahoo Mail account but the process insists he provide a cell phone contact number. His phone is the ultimate basic that doesn't allow messages and apps. He cannot get past this part of the process to open a mail account.
