Grammatical mistakes
In the article (Authorities brush off claims by unheard-of group taking responsibility for missing plane) published by Yahoo, Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein was quoted as saying the following 2 sentences.
'There is no sound or credible grounds to justify their claims'.
'The spreading of such speculative reports are an unwelcome distraction to the search and rescue personnel'.
In the first sentence either the verb 'is' or the noun 'grounds' is wrong.
In the second sentence the verb should be 'is' not 'are' as it is related to the noun 'spreading'.
I wonder which party is the one making the grammatical mistakes.
As there is no Yahoo email address available in their website I will send this feedback through their online feedback form.
