Why do media articles still refer to the Princess of Wales by her maiden name of Kate Middleton, it seems a bit disrespectful to me. After all she is married and is not longer Middleton but Wales. It gives the impression that they do not recognise her as being married. Why is this?

Though I notice that Camilla Queen Consort is not referred to Camilla Pariker-Bowles Queen Consor. Why is this?
