The amount of new mouse use, hidden menus, multiple clicks, hunting around to find hidden features and functions is ridiculous. If yahoo wanted to make a system that caused excessive pain to the users, that has been achieved. The redesign is a disaster--and to dump it on users with no real notice of the problems coming is inexcusable. The redesign has a lot of bugs and missing functions, so it looks more like beta testing in production and all of the users are the guinea pigs. This is a rotten thing to do to your users--many who have been with you for years.
