I would prefer an option to go back to an older layout on the Yahoo!mail page. The current page comes up as too large, placement of icons are in illogical locations, and it has a feeling of screaming at you. Yes, I wear glasses, and when viewing the email, I feel like it is "sitting on my lap". Without my glasses, I cannot read it at all but again, that is why I wear corrective lenses. My point is, in the current format, I should not be able to read it while sitting across my room, which means that if I have someone in my space, they too can read what is there and that creates privacy issues. Please offer alternative options for layout so that is easier on the eyes.
