Can I just see the TECH NEWS in a list ?

Go back to a text layout. The tiled page layout is just horrible. I can only scan three or four headlines at most. I want to read NEWS not look at stupid pictures. You drank the Microsoft Tablet KoolAId, eh? Like millions, I'm moving away from Yahoo due to this dreadful interface.

At least allow us to toggle between the simple list and the tablet friendly buttons. You should be able to choose how you want to see this, either in settings or via a toggle button.

I don't like seeing all the floating images that start each article. Some people might. There should be a switch which lets me view the articles the traditional way. The title in big letters and then the excerpt in normal size letters and then you can either click the title to load the full page or the "continue reading" link after the excerpt.
