Agreed. I don't even bother reading the article if there is no comment section. If this trend continues I'll go elsewhere for my news and quite possibly quit using YaHoo for my e-mail as well. I find the comment sections on news and information sites to be rather entertaining whether they're good or bad.

This is NOT a new idea, but a complaint against Yahoo for not including a 'comments' section on many news posts.
Get your act together Yahoo, or you will soon become the oh-no you of the web. -

Yeah I vote for this one too! But in a good way, honest! I see you have some nasty readers who don't get a joke and that's probably what has deprived the rest of us who aren't haters from having this ability, but maybe you could have a filter or guidelines or something. So for example the ratings of the 50 states was hilarious, and I know it was tongue in cheek (plus it's not mean if it's true) and a lot of people won't get that.. BUT you can't serve up an article like that and not give us a chance to respond in the same tongue in cheek, non-hating, observant manner. I'm from California and was not the least offended we were ranked 10th (well, maybe right next to Texas hurt just a little), couldn't find much not true about it (and no you can't have our avocadoes). But come on, you can't just serve up a big ol' platter of juicy Texas barbecue, "queso" and Barbara Bush and tie our hands. It's cruel. And shame on you, the contributor from Texas should have recused him or herself from the article - that's kind of like putting that son of the family with 19 kids a judge of the little Miss America pageant, you know? But yeah, there would be those hate letters. Wait, I have an idea. You could have a little quiz people have to take before they can respond. You know, kind of like that thing Jay Leno used to do with the stupidest people on the street? Like ask them to point to 5 states on the U.S. map, or who their senator is (oh wait; that's too hard) but you get the drift. That should cut down on the hate mail. Please? PLEASE??
