Please improve the account recovery method so we don't waste our emails and important data by unnecessary account creations, Yahoo
My old yahoo email was chenmikey55 here. The last time I accessed was in 2010, on my old computers eMachine Desktop operating Windows Vista and my old HP pavilion laptop which also operates Vista. I also signed into YouTube with this yahoo email and posted a couple of videos in summer of 2009. That time my parents did not give me a phone yet cos they thought I was too young to use phone; I was a 7th grader middle school student that year I created this yahoo account that I totally forgot my password and messed up my security questions and answers that time that I wish as of now that I should not created my emails without getting a phone. Now cos of that, my important data are gone, which mostly comes from my middle school homework and my personal uses, all vanished because of this Yahoo policy that forces us to do unnecessary account creations.
First of all, how come my yahoo chenmikey55 is still there? Yahoo policy states that it shall be deactivated after one year passed inactivity, but I last time used that yahoo email in 2010! Now that email being lost and inconvenience from yahoo to recover is wasting yahoo email server space like that, I tell you guys.
This Yahoo policies sucks! We tried to call the premium care and all the help center resources and they ARE NOT HELPING! Why do we either have to use premium call or help center resources or have to create a new yahoo account after we forgot our passwords and our security question answers, and forgot to include our phone numbers and any accessible means?! This Yahoo policies must need improvements on account recovery to let us add or replace with our accessible email and phone numbers, otherwise Yahoo email server spaces are WASTED for unnecessary account creations! And stop telling us to use premium care call and stop telling us to use help centers. Once again they are not helpful at all in this situation! Please let us regain our forgotten yahoo email accounts instead of creating new email accounts! Please.
