Very difficult to follow. There is no focus point. Just a bunch of boxes that most of which are things I have no interest in.
You need a main focal point. What you have here is just a bunch of stories that most people do not care about. Have a news item that is current now, not articles that have no point of reference of what is current. this format is too random and the stories are all the same in size, color and impact. Very boring and at the same time confusing.

New format-Bad
Yahoo has taken away weather forecast, the stock averages (DOW, etc.), the sliding view to catch news at a glance on the same screen. Now have to go hunting for these things instead of being able to see all in one glance. Bad design.

Your homepage
The Yahoo homepage is nothing but tabloid articles and advertisements. It is not informational with anything of importance. Are you now a tabloid website? The only reason I go to yahoo.com today is to click on the mail icon to check my mail everything else I do elsewhere!

who has time to read through all that **** before deciding on what articles to read???
keep the headlines with pictures at the top like before. I have a few minutes here and there through out my day to check out articles online. as sad as it sounds pictures decide what articles I read. the new format sucks!!! i'll be an avid msn fan until then. -
Every time yahoo thinks its a good idea to change, things they cant read, Becasue people hate it.. Yahoo does not care for its customers.

Stop Changing the Yahoo home page. This one is terrible.... Please restore the old version!!!
Go back to the other, tried and true Yahoo home page. If you insist on having this new page design, just make it an optional choice. Not mandatory. If this design persists, I will be dropping Yahoo as my home page and main browser selection... I hate to say it but, I will be changing to Google...

2nd ranked post here is fake, NO ONE LIKES THIS PAGE AT ALL
I dont believe anyone likes this new page and wants to keep it, you got your employees voting and keeping that 2nd ranked post up there. NO ONE wants anything to do with this new page at all! Who said it was not modern? Some geek trying to keep his job? This is not a piece of clothing people and now i am done with yahoo, going to find a place that does not have a need to CHANGE every year.

Your old home page was very well organized and you get an idea of what was going on in the world by just browsing the home page... The new one SUCKS... YAHOO IS NOT MY HOME PAGE ANYMORE!!!! Thanks for a good run but I guess all GOOD THINGS come to an end.
