Since this was what distinguished Yahoo from the others. Don't go back to the old design, just keep this new one, but add the side to side slider, making emphasis on top stories. Good luck, like this you could salvage your reputation. -
The new page is horrible!! You matched the horrible format like MSN; sucks. Put the scrolling carousel back!
The MSN format that has been adopted is horrible and just a cluttered mess with no distinct way to use. The scrolling carousel of latest news was the best format out there and the reason most people used. It was user friendly, appealing, and the best overall. Go back to the old format and update the look of the stuff around the scrolling headline carousel

I HATE HATE HATE the new Yahoo Page!
I have NEVER felt the need to post feedback for anything especially a web page before. This new page is awful. I have used Yahoo for my home page for more than 15 years. I am ready to turn it off, switch my email, and never look back. I can't find what used to matter most to me. The fonts are all so large and the colors overwhelming. The absolute worst part is the Twitter feed we can't turn off. And its not who I follow on Twitter it's your ridiculous choices. It takes up a 1/4th of the page…

I cleared my cache and cookies and then came the horror - you redesigned the home page. Awful. Awful. Put the old one back or offer your users a choice.

IDIOTS. Your company is losing ground because of some of the idiotic changes some nerd thinks is cool. Explain a change, give an option, and let the customer switch or switch back as they wish. Quit letting an electronic nut make these changes or I am also through with your company. Changing to this new opening page is terrible.

There is absolutely NO reason whatsoever to continue forcing people to view the new page layout given the overwhelmingly negative response it has received. Of the 12 pages and thousands of comments describing how much people hate it and how UN-user-friendly it is, I have seen exactly 2 positive comments. What other feedback do you feel you need before you dump the experiment and go back to the old layout? Hate is a strong word but it's the perfect word in this case. I just want my news (the real news headlines, not the garbage included in the "All Stories"…

Awful page.
Why do you want me to have to scroll forever to find anything? Do what you want to the mobile site, but fix the desktop site. And remove Twitter for crying out loud. If I want a Twitter feed, I'll create a Twitter account.

I do not appreciate waking up to all this large print stuff on my Yahoo page. You seem to think that all people reading news want to see this mess. There should be an option to go back to old format or use a blank page.

Everyone hates the new homepage. The worst part is all of our personalizations are gone and I see no options to redo them. No one likes this.....please listen to your users.

What got some intern with nothing to do? Fire the *** and save money to buy faster servers. Keep up trying to tweak the home page and you'll lose users, like Microsoft ever since they scuttled XP people have been moving away from windows. Funny how you always try these changes on weekends when your staff is not there to deal with the massive amount of complaints.

Go back to the old Yahoo page - new one messy like MSN.
Can't just scroll through all the tidbit updates like before - can't easily find anything - not even the weather.
Sometimes change is the wrong thing. Like MSN, this one is too.
