Realizing that Yahoo changes things without notice and keeps it changed, I would like to say that I do not care for the following:
1. Endless scrolling - It would be nice to be able to go to the bottom of the page without it loading at the end of each segment.
2. Like/Reblog/Share buttons - These buttons are annoying as they pop up and get in the way of where I want to click or read.
3. No personalization - I really liked that I could choose what I wanted to view and personalize on MY homepage. There is no option to do so now.
4. No more windows on top of page - We used to be able to quickly view and scan 5 pictures on the news and then arrow over to view 5 more. Then, if we wanted to, we could scroll down to view more stories. Now we have to endlessly scroll down to the messy format.
5. Cannot choose what type of news we want to view - I hate sports and reports about Obama and I had them blocked. Now, we are unable to block content and can only Like something. If it stays this way, I will need to look elsewhere to view my favorite stories.

Yahoo. I am a 19 year old student, and even I can tell you that you will not attract any new users by changing your homepage format. Instead, you're a declining ancient, but those of us who did prefer your carousel format are the ones who stayed, and are the ones you need to cater to. Don't change our experience. Just improve it.

P.S. Google News lets me personalize my homepage, choose who I want to receive content from, how often, where my interests are. They also have multiple format options. They still need some work but right now they are head and shoulders above where you are. One more reason to switch everything to Google besides my main email address!

Not well thought out. There is no way to personalize content, no way to dislike or remove something I find offensive, no more daily horoscope. I am all for freshening the look and keeping current with content trends and how info is delivered but don't take away your user's ability to make the page what they want it. I find articles easier to read and it easier to get back to the homepage but I would forgo that if it has to be at the expense of taking away my ability to block content offensive to me or to personalize what I want to see on the page. PS - creating the ability to connect to social content is great for you guys but who cares. Give me back the ability to make this page something relevant to me or I can always find a new homepage provider.

Please give me back my classic Yahoo home page. I don't want this thing you have imposed on me without my consent, and I am an old lady who finally figured out how to navigate my Yahoo home page. Now you changed it and it is useless to me. It will not even let me get to my e mail without minimizing my screen, and it gives no e mail preview. It is useless. I know you have a new female CEO-- my advice to you is to leave well enough alone. This is not appreciated even though you are probably trying to shake things up. Why does the public have to suffer???????

Why does YAHOO constantly try and change what already works?
NEW FORMAT DOESN'T WORK ! ! !
We like the scroll at the top, category buttons on the left, headliner stories listed center, comics and horoscopes on the right. Now it is all a mess. No scroll no comics no horoscopes just individual headliner stories.
YAHOO.com has changed once again for the worse. I thought YAHOO learned its lesson last time when they did this and had such an uproar that they changed it back. I'll put up with it just so long and then I will find somewhere else to spend my internet time. -

What happened to the scrolling stories at the top of the page? I wound up wasting my time trying to figure out what happened to them, only to finally discover that you've apparently changed the format without any notification? Annoying as ****. This change, not being told about it, and the fact that it is getting harder to find actual news, as opposed to sensationalist content, fluff pieces, or articles that say little more than the title or that have titles that are misleading, lead me to think that I have to find another site for news and information. I prefer the scrolling stories and options I had previously. Thank you.

I really dislike the new home page. I have to keep scrolling and it is awkward to view. I want it back to where I can scroll through the top stories at the top. I also want those ads to go away at the top of the page. I have unsubscribed but they still come back.
