Pictures of locations
I would love to add a photo for locations where you don't provide one, so I don't have to stare at a blank screen.

Exactly. More location pictures please, but most of all, the correct ones. For example, some photos for a weather forecast location are not the actual place, just like a tropical city has background photos of a rolling valley and trees with spring buds blooming on the trees! That's a northern place, not a tropical place, and not the correct location! And it shows the photos for Yahoo weather app are from the site Flickr, but we know there are millions of photos on Flickr to use! Why are there lack of photos being used for the background? Sometimes repeating two only. And photos of CLOUDS do not count. Silly.
If yahoo weather won't use more Flickr location photos, then please give app users the option to put and use their own photos. Most likely, they will be the users own photos from the actual location. This is because yahoo weather app users tend to have ties to the location(s) they choose to look at their weather forecast. Thank you. -

Great idea, I would know how to add pictures, too. It's very annoying to have localities without photos or with one single image for all kind of weather.
