New Deal American Wealth Social Justice
I would like to create a show that will be entertaining and will teach the American public how their real history and the fight for equality did not come easy.
Before the Wall Street Crash of 1929, the vast majority of 90-95% of American growing up were stuck to live out their economic lives with no guarantee to equal chance to become economically secured, and protected by the vast discrepancies between the wealthiest, their managers and handful of elite entertainers and athletes.
When the country was close to dissolving after that economic downturn, the third experienced since the our Founding as a nation, there was no security for the 90-95% of working Americans.
The stories I have written and want to produce takes a look at our immigration past and how wealth controlled who was to become our elected leaders at Local, State and Federal levels.
After FDR was elected and the corporate leaders were scared by the tide of nationalism in Italy, Germany and Spain, the idea that "Capitalism" could survive without some very important tweaks that would consider the population and its workers assigned the roles to produce the goods and services were allowed to be included into the "Free Market Concept". Basically, people should not be exploited until they got hurt, died on the job, sick from the lack of safety standards and be included in sharing a part of the Gross Profits that had never before had been a part of the economic balance sheet.
