This nation is divided enough without EVERY story becoming a political argument. Even a story about pregnancy loss was ridden with hateful and insensitive comments. Yahoo was better when people kept their opinions to themselves..like old school newspapers.

commentedI would have to disagree. The comments section gives all of America a voice to share their opinions without hate. Just an honest open discussion. You dont have to click on comments if you dont like others opinions.

commentedComments are vital. Despite Yahoo's Puritanical and "woke" favoring censorship positions, if one writes very carefully and edits 5000 times one can get a bit of the truth out for public view. (EDIT: Pravda West often won't even let me edit anymore let alone tell me what's wrong with a reply. Even the Puritans would be appalled by Yahoo censorship practices.)

commentedYou need to keep the comments section. It’s the only way to get the other side of the story.

commentedWithout the comments, I find I rarely can get links to other sides of the story.
And, where else can we get our daily supply of laughter?
