comment rejection
You obviously have some algorithm searching for offensive speech in comments, so why don't you just highlight it so we can fix it? Instead you block the comment and link to some uselessly vague document about your policies that means nothing. We get it - your policy allows you to block anything for any reason. Don't make us play detective and just delete the problem sentence for us or highlight it of something so we can move on.

If you are talking about the little comment sections at the bottom of the articles, yahoo doesnt control that. It is a different company called "Openweb". They wrote, host and maintain the comment sections. Yes, its just a garbage program. It's so bad a first year programming student could do a better job with COBOL. Contacting them about it is a waste of time too. they dont answer. I have tried emails and direct messages to them in the past. They just ignore it. Whatever yahoo is paying them to host and maintain the section is FAR too much, even if yahoo managed to get it done for free. They will block an actual conversation between two real people, but still allow millions of foreign trolls and bots to do nothing but shitpost and flood the pages. I dont even bother with it anymore. You cant actually discuss anything so it's just worthless. Anyway, just letting you know you were complaining in the wrong place. You could try telling Openweb about it, they have both facebook and twitter pages, but it most likely wont do any good.
