I do not like the new format.
The grid of many items on a page is confusing. The previous format with a picture in the left and description to the right was easier to scan and digest.

The ability to customize the content presented and where it sits on the home page is critical.
The new myYahoo! seem not to have that.
Please keep the custom page set up function in play, in some form. -

Hate the new format! It is in no way shape or form customizable to what interests ME. I will never use this new format and will find a new homepage for myself...currently I made my yahoo mail my homepage. Disappointed that you guys thought this was a good idea :-(

It wasn't broken, so why did you fix it?

"See more of what’s breaking, trending and interesting to you."
Yeah, no, that's nothing more or less than a marketling lie.. Removing all feed customization features means you're CONTROLLING what I am able to see, no part of this is about what is important/interesting/essential to ME.
I would add that it's also ridiculously and needlessly more difficult to navigate.
25+ years on Yahoo, and this absolute farce of an "improvement" means that I will never again recommend Yahoo to anyone.
Waiting for the other shoe to drop, where we find out customization of Yahoo feed is still available to paid subscribers--at which point my no longer recommending Yahoo will become "Don't waste your time or energy setting up a Yahoo account, literally any other option would be better."

These change is awful! I like My Yahoo just the way it is and I have it configured the way I like it. The new format is confusing. When My Yahoo goes away, so will I.

I have been using My Yahoo for years because I could modify it to exactly what I wanted. I have found no other one that is that good. So why do you feel the need to change it? Looking at the new format I'm underwhelmed by how you have set it up and I see no way to reconfigure it to suit my needs and interests. "We're building a new yahoo.com to show more of what's interesting to you." Actually, you have filled it with things I am uninterested in. Very sad. I'll have to move over to Google, which is not as good as your My Yahoo. I'm sad to see me go. :(

I absolutely hate the new format. I like my homepage uncluttered and I don't care about sports, the stocks or most of the news media. I loved being able to change my theme every holiday/season. I loved being able to choose what I want to see and not what YOU think I want to see. KEEP THE OLD FORMAT OR AT LEAST GIVE US THE CHOICE OF SWITCHING OR NOT.

Do you really think anyone at Yahoo is listening to you. If you do, I have some land in Florida for sale. If they really cared, they would just give people the option between old and new sites. Wake up people. They don't care.

I've used Yahoo as a homepage for many years. The new format has way too much information, and the ad at the top never loads properly. Please bring back the old homepage. I think many users, myself included, will simply switch to a less crowded homepage like Google and use their search engine.

The new homepage is laid out like a shopping list. The finance page has so much stuff crammed in one spot it’s overwhelming. 100% do not like it. I’ve been using Yahoo since you first started. This is by far the worst update I’ve ever seen. Going to go somewhere else until you guys figure it out.

Nothing else to add. I don't like it. I can't find any of the pertinent stuff I'm looking for and I really don't want to look for it. Every time I go to Yahoo, which was my default page, and see the new layout, I just close the page. And it says that the old layout is still available but conveniently there is no "return to old page or switch back" link like it claims.

Yeah- the new home page looks and feels childish; like amateur hour and a big step backwards into the beginnings of the internet. This seems like just unnecessary tweaking for no good reason. Lost a longtime yahoo! Fan. I’m stuck with my email address; it’s so old at this point I won’t (can’t) change it as so much of my life is tied up with it, but have switched to google news.

Your new format for both the Yahoo Home page and Finance page SUX, it is slower than the old page, has less information, has too many video ads, and is just generally bad.

I don't like the new format at all and won't use it. I'll switch to googles home page and news feeds. The ads on the side are annoying . You can't read the headlines because the ads keep changing screens every few seconds . Sad that you had to change . Not a lot of thought given to the design.

The fact that now you cant go back to the old homepage layout is truly appalling, the new layout is so confusing and overwhelming, its literally makes me give up on the first day looking for anything interesting!!the saying "if it aint broke, dont fix it"should be adhered to in the tech world..the new page if awful in every way..at least give your "customers" the CHOICE TO SWITCH BACK if they want to!!the fact you say"we are giving you a new look"no one asked for it!!we look at what we want to..we dont need you to"show us"!!!

This just doesn't work, the page is scattered looking, showing junk I've never been interested in. And as I said, mine has the mail icon in the upper right corner (new icon btw) yet it doesn't even show if I have emails until I go to a page that is in the old format!
